Digital Scarcity - 24 Hour Special

Stephen Dean is having a 24 hour special to launch his new course, Digital Scarcity. I had the privilege of getting a reveiw copy earlier in the week and recommend it highly. In 22 minutes Stephen lays out a variety of ways of providing scarcity to help increase your conversion rate.

Scarcity is easy to to do with physical products. But when it comes to digital, how do you do it with credibility? In 2 short videos Stephen lays out a variety of options and then lets you look over his shoulder as he crafts three offers.

With video being all the rage, too many course provide videos, or webinars, and don’t provide the text documents used to creat them. Stephen not only includes the text files, but gives you the swipe files of his offers as well. Nice touch.

As I said on my testimonial posted on his site, if you can’t earn back your investment in this course quickly, then you need to go get a job and leave your Internet business behind.

Not only is Stephen having a half price offer, but he won’t charge you until you have had his product for 3 days! Nicely done.

Linking Strategy

My friend Richard Lee just wrote a valuable article on his Internet Business blog about the linking strategy he used to make it to #5 on Google for “Internet Business.” One technique he used is a service called Three Way Links. I recently signed up for it myself, but my campaign is not up and running yet. Go read Richard’s review and see his results, and if you want similar results, I recommend you sign up using his affiliate link included in the article.

Product Launch Blueprint

In the past 3 years I have invested a substantial amount in learning how to operate an internet business. Some products cost a few dollars, some a few dozen, and other many hundreds. There have even been a few that have approached a thousand dollars or more.

Some information products or software are easily worth the investment of a $7 or $35 or even $100. There are few that are worth every penny no matter the price. That means if you can afford the investment in your business, then you need to get it. Product Launch Formula by Jeff Walker is one of those products.

But it is not available anymore. He pulled it from the market a few weeks ago. He decided to give away a ton of information for a while instead. Yes, of course he is going to sell version 2, but not for a few weeks, and not until he gives away some great information for free to prove that he knows his stuff.

He knows his stuff alright and part of what he is going to be giving away is the heart of version 1 of Product Launch Formula, the blueprint. To get it, all you have to do is go sign up to receive some great information on how to do product launches.

The first video tells not only about a guy who went from food stamps to a six figure income, but shows how Jeff built the formula starting with his first launch of $1600. That’s right, this was way before he worked with all those gurus doing million dollar days and weeks. Could you use an extra $1600 next week?  How about $20,00 next month? It is possible, and Jeff will show you how.

I bought PLF almost 3 years ago and haven’t bought a thing from Jeff since. That hasn’t stopped him from sending me free information and case studies on how his clients have used it. The free stuff over the years was easily worth thousands more than the initial investment. That’s just the way Jeff does business.

Go watch his video on The “Food Stamps” Case Study. And sign up for his launch list. The free stuff alone will make you money if you are smart enough to implement it.

New Domain to Front Page Google In 3 Days!

OK, I haven’t done this much on this blog yet because I assume my readers do read other blogs. However, this is too awesome and needs to be seen. Michelle MacPhearson over at 30 minute backlinks just set up a new domain 3 days ago and using her own techniques, ranked #5 in Google for her keyword. OK, it wasn’t one which gets 50,000 searches a month, but it was key to her market. Here’s the link to her blog with the video proof: #?? In Google In 3 Days!

Inbound links are one of the top ways of getting ranked high, and Michelle shows you how to get them with her program 30 Minute Backlinks. At a one-time $100, it’s a bargain. I’ve started using it. Still more to do. I’ll let you know my results.

Productivity, Time Management and Values

What is most important to you?  In life? In business?

One way of finding out is to track your time and find out what you spend the most time doing. That’s ridiculous, you say. But it is not. We spend time doing those things we value the most. And if you don’t like the way you are spending your time, or you don’t like the values you are living, then change them.

In addition to my Internet business, I am a fundraising consultant to not-for-profits. If you’ve been following me for more than a couple of months, you know about my other blog that now focuses on Fundraising Ideas but used to include internet business as well. Yesterday I wrote about feeling a higher sense of responsibility to my clients because not only are they paying me for my work, but their funding comes from donors, not from sales.

My original plan was to phase out the consulting part of my business as my interent business grows. It turns out that my knowledge and work toward marketing this business is growing that business as well. So lately I’m feeling rather crunched for time. How can I get it all done and where does the time go?

RescueTime to the rescue. A fantastic new web based program, totally free, at least for now, that tracks how you iuse your time when you are at your computer. I’ve only been using it a few days and it is amazing. I’ve known that anything you track, you imporve, since going into business more than 30 years ago.  And RescueTime is perfect to help you track minutes and hours that seemed to get away.

I’m a news junky and love politics too. So this is not the best season for productivity. But as long as I see that I’ve already spent 45 minutes reading news or politics, I know that it is taking too much from my day. I do value the knowledge and intellectual stimulation I get from reading that stuff, but not as much as I value doing work on building the aspect of my business that will give me the freedom to stop selling my time for money, even at the $1500 per day I currently charge.

What do you value most? Do you value productivity or do you value the freedom to surf as you please at the expense of your future? If your not sure whether you are living the values you think you have, then get Rescuetime. If you are not sure of what your values are, get RescueTime. And then decide if those are the values you want.
